Weird, I know.

BUT - for once, this entry has some substance!

Because for my college org's application process, (the University of the Philippines Association of Biology Majors) we're required to make one public blog entry about our Buddy. And Lord knows that my Buddy deserves one!

Kester Yu. Every time someone asks me who my buddy is for the application process and I say his name, I get one general reply -

"WOW swerte mo ah! You got the powerful guy!"

And every time, I just. Blank out.

Because, well. So what if Kester's all-powerful? The first thing I think of when I see him is that he's lol, so dorky. A little on the weird side. Generally friendly. A people person, because he can totally talk to anyone - anyone at all!

I don't see him as "powerful". Because he's more than that.

He's the buddy who helps me - partly because he wants me to pass the app process because none of his buddies in the past have ever quit (oh crap pressure yan ah!), but mostly because he's just like that. He's a good guy, he's helpful, he's approachable, he's silly, he's fun. He's in a Bio Majors' organization even if he's a Geology major. You can't get any more hardcore than that.

Kester's a great buddy. It's a little sad that we hadn't been able to bond like most buddy-pairs did. Our schedules were just too different and he was always busy with something or the other. (as evidenced by how few our pics are. Ahaha.) Even then, he makes the effort to check on me and ask how I'm doing. He helped me with my Sig Sheet 1, and is helping me out with the second one.

And to be honest? Sometimes the highlight of my day is seeing him enter the Tambio and yelling out "BUDDY!" when he sees me.

Because to me, that's enough.
